A method of providing in an atmosphere both a continual supply of volatile liquid and the possibility for a time of an enhanced supply, comprising providing the liquid (3) in a reservoir (1) with an opening, which opening is covered by a membrane (4) of a thickness of from 0.05-0.4mm so as to define within the reservoir an internal evaporation space (6), the continual supply being provided by liquid evaporating within the internal evaporation space and passing through the membrane, and the enhanced supply being provided by evaporation from liquid absorbed in the membrane which has been brought into contact with the liquid and then separated therefrom. The method is easily carried out with a simple, cheap device. A suitable choice of membrane also gives an end-of-life indication by changing colour as liquid absorbed therein is disseminated.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention dans une atmosphère à la fois d'une alimentation continue en liquide volatil et de la possibilité d'une alimentation renforcée temporaire, comprenant la disposition du liquide (3) dans un réservoir (1) avec une ouverture, laquelle ouverture est recouverte par une membrane (4) d'une épaisseur allant de 0,05 à 0,4 mm de façon à définir dans le réservoir un espace d'évaporation interne (6), l'alimentation continue étant obtenue par un liquide s'évaporant dans l'espace d'évaporation interne et passant à travers la membrane, et l'alimentation renforcée étant obtenue par une évaporation provenant d'un liquide absorbé dans la membrane qui a été mise en contact avec le liquide et ensuite séparée de celui-ci. Le procédé est facilement réalisé avec un dispositif simple et bon marché. Un choix adéquat de membrane donne également une indication de fin de durée d'utilisation en changeant de couleur lorsqu'un liquide absorbé dans celle-ci est dispersé.
