ABSTRACT Prior art constant current source circuits with temperature compensation are known but they are not highly stabilized with respect to power supply voltage variations, a disadvantage in battery-powered equipment. The invention disclosed is a voltage and temperature stabilized constant current circuit. The circuit includes a differential amplifier having one input connected to a voltage reference and a second input connected to a voltage stabilizing circuit. A first output terminal is connected to the input of a temperature stabilizing circuit while a second output is connected to the input of the voltage stabilizing circuit. The voltage and temperature stabilizing circuits operate on a feedback principle.
