A voltage applied type current measuring system using computer based data acquisition board is disclosed for the measurement of voltage-current characteristics of electrical and electronic devices. A computer based data acquisition board with voltage output and input ability is connected to a current measuring circuit. The current measuring circuit consists of multiple current measuring resistors, an operational amplifier and a switch. It is constructed in a way that voltage output from the computer based data acquisition board is relayed to a device under test (DUT) and current flow into or from the DUT is flow through one of the current measuring resistor selected by the switch. The voltage created across the current measuring resistor is measured by the computer based data acquisition card. By using Ohm's Law, V=IR, the current flow in or from the DUT can be measured.
