ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a metering arrangement for instantaneous or momentary values, wherein there is obtained, from the sum of squared sinusoidal and cosine oscillations of identical frequency, amplitude and curve shape, a peak-value-proportional identical variable. For this purpose the sinusoidal oscillation of a multiplier is fed, squared, both directly by way of a first adder and by way of an inverter to a second adder the output of which is connected to the second input of the first adder. Between the output of -the first and second input of the second adder there is connected a feed-back control circuit having a desired value transmitter for the peak-value- proportional identical variable, which is influenced by the output of the second adder. The arrangement is used for measurements in electric mains.
