ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to articles which exhibit PTC behavior and which comprise polymers containing -CH2CF2- units and electrically conductive carbon black dispersed therein. The voltage stability of such articles is improved by mixing the polymer and carbon black with monomers containing carbon-carbon multiple bonds, and then cross-linking the mixtures. The PTC articles are useful as self-limiting heaters and other devices which make use of the PTC characteristic.
