A voltage tunable dielectric varactor includes a substrate having a low dielectric constant and having generally planar surface, a tunable ferroelectric layer positioned on the generally planar surface of the substrate, and first and second electrodes positioned on a surface of the tunable ferroelectric layer opposite the generally planar surface of the substrate. The first and second electrodes are separated to form a gap therebetween. The varactor includes an input for receiving a radio frequency signal and an output for delivering the radio frequency signal. A bias voltage applied to the electrodes changes the capacitance of the varactor between the input and output thereof. Phase shifters and filters that include the varactor are also described.
Varactor diélectrique réglable en tension comprenant un substrat possédant une constante diélectrique basse et présentant une surface généralement plane, une couche ferroélectrique accordable placée sur la surface généralement plane du substrat, ainsi qu'une première et une deuxième électrodes placées sur une surface de la couche ferroélectrique accordable en face de ladite surface. Ces première et deuxième électrodes sont séparées, de manière à créer une distance entre les électrodes. Ce varactor comporte une entrée servant à recevoir un signal haute fréquence et une sortie servant à transmettre ce signal haute fréquence. Une tension de polarisation appliquée aux électrodes modifie la capacité du varactor entre son entrée et sa sortie. L'invention concerne également des compensateurs de phase et des filtres incorporant ce varactor.
