Gravity powered vertically reaching yellow-orange flame vortex beacon for maximum visibility in foggy conditions. This is necessary because normal lighting illuminates objects and the drops or molecules of fog reflect the light directly back which blinds the drivers or pilots. This then is to make driving in fog possible on haulage roads in strip mining, and for pilots attempting landing and take-off from air-strips (when conventional lighting is not practical or possible). A visible orange-yellow vortex flame can be seen and when used as beacons or flame pillars along road or strip-edges the operators see these pillars of flame and can ascertain where the edges of road or strip are. No auxiliary power is used or required.
