ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to vulcanizable halogen rubber mixtures which contain silica and, when required, carbon black in addition to a 2-sec. amino-4,6-dimercapto-s-triazine. 2-sec.amino-4,6-dimercapto-s-triazine compounds in vulcanizable silica-filled halogen rubber mixtures result in higher stress values and in lower values for the compresseion set.
