WAIST BELT Abstract of the Disclosure A waist belt for securement about the waist of a wearer. The belt comprises an elongated band por- tion having a buckle connecting end for securement to a buckle assembly. The buckle assembly comprises a short looped band portion having an attachment end portion and a buckle retention portion. The attachment end portion has at least one connector element secured thereto. The buckle connecting end of the band portion has at least two connector elements disposed in differ- ent planes whereby the connector element of the buckle assembly may be secured axially aligned with the elon- gated band portion or at an angle thereto.
