A walker is constructed by interconnecting a pair of side frames each formed by a front leg and a rear leg interconnect by a bridging member. The bridging member is constructed to pass the front leg therethrough and clamp it into position and pivotably mount the rear legs on a pivot spaced from the front leg. Each of the rear legs pivot between a collapse position and an operative position wherein the leg bears against a stop surface in the bridging member. The frames are interconnected by spacers and handles are telescoping received in the top ends of the front legs. This construction permits manufacture of different sized walkers by simply reducing the effective lengths of the legs.
