A walking assistance device having a sitting member (1) on which the user (P) can sit straddling it, and support members (2L, 2R) for supporting the sitting member (1). The sitting member (1) has a backward movement prevention section (1b) for preventing the sitting member (1) from being displaced backward relative to the user (P) sitting on the sitting member (1). The backward movement prevention section (1b) is constructed so as to be in contact with the inguinal region (Q) of the user (P). The construction minimizes backward displacement of the sitting member (1) relative to the user (P) to increase the stability when the user is seated.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'aide à la marche ayant un organe d'assise (1) sur lequel l'utilisateur (P) peut s'asseoir en le chevauchant, et des organes de support (2L, 2R) permettant de supporter l'organe d'assise (1).
