ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A walking beam suspension assembly for tandem axles of a truck or the like wherein the walking beams are each provided with a central pivot portion having a main portion and a sleeve portion with the latter axially spaced inwardly and with braces diagonally joining the sleeve portion to the opposite end portions of the corresponding beam, and rubber bushings pivotally mounting the main portion and sleeve portion on a pivot axle for the walking beams.
