A wall sander device is shaped as a longitudinally extending V-cross-section abrading member defining a first flexible planar member and a second flexible planar member, each having an outer surface and an inner surface; means to detachably receive and hold a conventional sanding implement generally between the first and second members in such a position that the longitudinal median plane of the sanding implement coincides with the longitudinal plane bisecting the V-cross-section abrading member, and that the bottom surface of the sanding implement is facing and spaced apart from at an angle with the inner surfaces of the longitudinally extending V-cross-section abrading member; and means to connect the longitudinally extending V-cross-section abrading member to the sanding implement receiving and holding means.
