This invention provides a self-adhesive article which is capable of being placed against a surface and repositioned or slid on that surface provided that not more than a predetermined degree of pressure is applied to the article during positioning. The article, such as a wall covering, has an adhering surface coated with an adhesive layer bearing microparticles. An optional moisture barrier layer is provided so as to inhibit the effects of water penetration into the article. A method of producing such an article is also provided.
L'invention concerne un article auto-adhésif pouvant être placé contre une surface et replacé ou glissé sur cette surface à condition qu'on n'applique pas plus qu'un degré prédéterminé de pression sur l'article pendant le positionnement. Cet article, tel qu'un revêtement mural, possède une surface d'adhérence revêtue par une couche adhésive portant des microparticules. Une couche éventuelle constituant une barrière contre l'humidité permet d'inhiber les effets de la pénétration d'eau dans l'article. Elle concerne également un procédé servant à fabriquer cet article.
