The present invention relates to protective devices for laser processing machines. The invention provides an improved wall segment (10) for a device such as a cabin, a wall or a screen, protecting against laser beams from a laser source (38) and enclosing a work or effective zone, this wall segment comprising an inner wall (12) adjacent to the work or effective zone and an outer wall (14) parallel to the inner wall (12) and further away from the work and effective zone than the inner wall (12), the inner and outer walls (12 and 14) being metallic, the inner wall (12) being fitted at least on a side (18) facing the work or effective zone with a highly absorbent coating (16) and a side (22) of the outer wall (14) facing the inside wall (12) being of lower absorption capability with respect to laser radiation than the coating.
L'invention concerne un élément mural (10) pour un dispositif de protection assurant une protection contre les faisceaux laser d'une source laser (38) et entourant une zone de travail ou une zone fonctionnelle, ledit dispositif pouvant être une cabine, une paroi ou un écran. Cet élément mural (10) présente une paroi intérieure (12) adjacente à la zone de travail, ainsi qu'une paroi extérieure (14) parallèle à la paroi intérieure (12) et plus éloignée de la zone de travail que la paroi intérieure (12). Afin d'activer un dispositif d'arrêt de secours permettant de désactiver la source laser ou le dispositif de traitement, il est prévu que la paroi intérieure (12) et la paroi extérieure (14) soient réalisées en métal, par exemple en tôle de fer ou d'acier, la paroi intérieure (12) étant pourvue, au moins sur la face latérale (18) orientée vers la zone de travail, d'un revêtement (16) à grand pouvoir d'absorption, et la face latérale (22) de la paroi extérieure (14), orientée vers la paroi intérieure, présentant un pouvoir d'absorption inférieur.
