ABSTRACT A device for sealing a space between a hollow member and a duct , for example a feedthrough and a hole in a wall , is described. The device comprises a retaining means such as a net for mechanically retaining a sealing material such as cement . The net can be adjusted, for example shortened longitudinally, so that the cement is forced through the net away from the surface of the hollow member to seal the gap between the hollow member and the duct .
