A sign for mounting to a wall consists of a lightweight frame, a magnetically attractable signboard and a second transparent panel. The lightweight frame includes a number of apertures for receiving mechanical fasteners to secure the lightweight frame to the wall. The lightweight frame also includes a flange positioned at a lower end thereof for supporting the lower end of the magnetically attractable signboard. The exterior edges of the lightweight frame provide a receptacle for the magnetically attractable signboard and include a series of apertures allowing the magnetically attractable signboard to be mechanically secured to the lightweight frame. Graphic elements cut from a magnetic material are detachably securable to the signboard without the location of attachment being constrained by the position of any mechanical securing means. The magnetically attractable signboard and the magnetic graphic elements are protected by a transparent panel secured to the lightweight frame. The transparent panel is secured to the lightweight frame by a threaded bolt passing through apertures at each corner of the transparent panel and engages threaded apertures in the lightweight frame so as to secure the transparent panel to the lightweight frame. Removing the threaded bolts in the top and bottom of either end of the transparent panel allows the transparent panel to be opened like a gate in a left or right direction, as the case may be, to permit the magnetic graphic elements to be moved or replaced.
