ABSTRACT IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO WALL PLAQUES A wall plaque 10 has a fixing recess 12 in its rear face 14, the recess 12 having an upper and lower portion (16 and 18 respectively). The upper and lower portions are separated by a surface 20 which extends inwardly and away from and at an angle to the rear face 14, and has ribs 22 projecting into the lower portion 18 extending across the recess 12. The plaque 10 is supported on a picture hook 28 such that the slope/ribs of the surface 20 tends to cause the rear face 14 of the plaque 10 to remain flush with the wall 24.
