Wall structure for a metallurgical vessel at the location where the vessel wall, on the hot side, is in contact with liquid metal and/or liquid slag, in particular for the hearth of a shaft furnace, comprising a steel plate lining (2), inside which lining at least one layer of refractory brickwork (15, 16, 17) is arranged, the steel plate lining (2) being joined to the layer (layers) of brickwork by means of mortar joints (5) and/or ramming compound joints (5) to form a cohesive structure, characterized in that metal bars (11) which run in the circumferential direction inside the steel plate lining (2) and project into the wall are present, which bars are connected to the outer side of the steel plate lining by means of attachment means (20) running through the steel plate lining, each assembly comprising a metal bar (11) and its attachment means (20) and the steel plate lining (2) forming, in the vertical direction, a unit which is sufficiently elastic to maintain a surface-to-surface contact along horizontal surfaces between the metal bars (11) and bricks (15, 16, 17) during operation.
L'invention concerne une structure paroi pour cuve métallurgique, cette structure étant placée de manière à être en contact, sur la partie chaude, avec un métal liquide et/ou une scorie liquide, en particulier dans la sole d'un four à cuve de fusion. Cette structure paroi comprend un revêtement en tôle d'acier (2) contenant au moins une couche de maçonnerie réfractaire (15, 16, 17) et destiné à être relié aux couches de cette maçonnerie par l'intermédiaire de joints de mortier (5) et/ou de joints à base d'un composé de damage (5), de manière à former une structure cohésive, caractérisée par des barres métalliques (11) qui s'étendent dans le sens de la circonférence à l'intérieur dudit revêtement en tôle d'acier (2), pour ensuite faire saillie par rapport à la paroi. Ces barres sont reliées au coté extérieur du revêtement en tôle d'acier par des organes de fixation (20) qui s'étendent dans ce revêtement, chaque ensemble comprenant une barre métallique (11) avec ses organes de fixation (20), le revêtement de tôle d'acier (2) formant, dans le sens vertical, une unité suffisamment élastique pour maintenir les surfaces en contact les unes avec les autres le long des surfaces horizontales séparant lesdites barres métalliques (11) des briques (15, 16, 17), en cours de fonctionnement.
