A wall vent and method of using the same, the wall vent comprising a hollow elongate body adapted to be mounted in a vertical orientation, the elongate body having a longitudinal axis, an upper end, a lower end, an exterior face and an interior face. An inlet passage protruding from the interior face at the upper end of the body, the inlet passage being positioned at an angle to the longitudinal axis. An outlet passage protruding from the exterior face at the lower end of the body, the outlet passage being positioned at an angle to the longitudinal axis.
