The present invention discloses a method of washing ware, in particular in an automatic domestic or institutional ware washing machine, using a detergent composition containing a cationic starch. This eliminates the need for a surfactant in the rinse step. The cationic starch provides a layer of cationic starch on the ware so as to afford a sheeting action in an aqueous rinse step without any added rinse agent.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de lavage d'articles, en particulier dans une machine à laver automatique familiale ou collective, qui utilise une composition détergente contenant un amidon cationique. Celle-ci permet de ne pas utiliser de tensioactif à l'étape de rinçage. L'amidon cationique forme sur les articles une couche qui assure une action de décollement lors d'une étape de rinçage aqueux sans ajouter aucun agent de rinçage.
