A longitudinal warewasher section, of a warewasher assembly having a plurality of warewasher sections mounted end-to-end, includes a frame and a control box pivotally mounted thereto, where the control box is pivotable from a compact, shipping orientation to an installation or operating orientation. The control box preferably includes electrical controls that have been pre-wired to the electrical and/or mechanical components of the warewasher section. When in the shipping position, the rear face of the control box lies substantially flush against a lateral end of the frame and the side face of the control box is substantially flush with the longitudinal front wall of the frame such that the control box faces outwardly from the lateral end of the frame. In this orientation, the control box does not add to the total lateral width of thewarewasher section. After the warewasher section has been shipped and unloaded, the control box is pivoted substantially 90° about hinges to an operating orientation, in which the rear face of the control box is perpendicular to the lateral end of the frame and the control box faces outwardly from the longitudinal from side of the frame. Once the control box is pivoted to this orientation, the end-to-end connection of theremaining warewasher sections the present section may then continue.
La présente invention vise la section longitudinale d'un lave-vaisselle industriel, composée d'une série de compartiments de lavage installés bout à bout, d'un cadre et d'une boîte de commande montée sur pivot, de telle manière que la boîte de commande puisse être repliée sur elle-même en position de transport, ou déployée en vue de son installation ou de sa mise en marche. La boîte de commande englobe de préférence des boutons de commande électriques précâblés avec les composants mécaniques ou électriques du compartiment du lave-vaisselle. Lorsque le compartiment est en position de transport, la face arrière de la boîte de commande est quasi d'affleurement avec une extrémité latérale du cadre et la face latérale de la boîte de commande est quasi d'affleurement avec la paroi longitudinale avant du cadre de telle sorte que la boîte de commande soit orientée vers l'extérieur par rapport à l'extrémité latérale du cadre. Dans cette position, la boîte de commande n'augmente pas la largeur totale du côté du compartiment du lave-vaisselle industriel. Après le transport et le déchargement du compartiment de lave-vaisselle, la boîte de commande est placée en position de marche par un pivotement à 90 sur ses charnières, position dans laquelle la face arrière de la boîte de commande est perpendiculaire à l'extrémité latérale du cadre et la boîte de commande est orientée vers l'extérieur par rapport à la face longitudinale du cadre. Une fois la boîte de commande ainsi placée, le raccordement bout à bout des autres compartiments du lave-vaisselle avec la section faisant l'objet de la présente invention peut être exécuté.
