- 14 - ABSTRACT Warning apparatus for venous drip feeds comprising an ob- long structure, an upper means of suspension, a slider free to slide axially the lower end of which emerges from the apparatus and is fixed to a means for hanging the drip feed bottle, a spring that pushes said slider upward and a switch for the electric circuit of a visual or acoustic alarm device placed on the trajectory of the slider , so that as the weight of the bottle becomes less during transfer of the liquid it contains into the vein of the patient, said slider rises steadily causing closure of the switch which sets off the alarm, the position of said switch being adjustable in relation to the slider in such a way that the alarm is given when the quantity of liquid in the bottle reaches the level making necessary intervention by the nurse.
