The invention concerns a washer for setting the height of the stirring shaft of a stirring cover for paint stirring machines. This washer comprises a truncated annular body (11), with an opening (13) slightly smaller than the diameter of the stirring shaft (3), and includes a pin (15) midway along its annular plane, designed to fit into at least one hole (17) bored through the diameter of the stirring shaft (3).
