In a waste car pressing apparatus, a pressing plate is provided between an upper plate and a base plate of a frame. Fixed pieces protrude at both sides of the bottom surface of the upper plate and top surface of the pressing plate 50. Each supporting link is rotatably fixed at four corners respectively, and each a lifting and dropping link is rotatably mounted at central portion of both sides of the supporting links at right and left. The supporting links and the lifting and dropping links are made in pairs at upper and lower plates and respectively coupled by links with joints at their center . The links of the right and left sides are connected by a lateral guide bar. A piston rod of a cylinder is connected to the right side link of the lifting and dropping link, and a connecting piece of the cylinder is connected to the left side link .
