ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The waste collection device comprises a structure having a base and a cover which are suitable for delimiting a portion of space for the accommodation of a container. The structure is connected to lifting means suitable for providing movement between a position in which the structure is concealed within a pit and a position in which it protrudes completely from the pit. A hollow column is rigidly associated with the cover and is connected to the container for the insertion of waste.
