Abstract A waste-heat boiler comprises a gas duct in which are installed two tube baffles extending at right angles to the direction of flow of off gases. One baffle is dis- posed in a radiant section of gas duct and the other baffles is disposed in the entry to a convection section. The baffle which is disposed in the radiant section is made for a multipass flow of fluid being heated, composed of U-shaped tubes and is provided with at least one means for securing it to one of the side walls of the gas duct. The means for securing is located on a bent end of the U-shaped tube disposed in the close proximity to the side wall of the gas duct. The baffle which is disposed in the convection section is made for a multipass flow of fluid being heated, the outlet of fluid being heated for one baffle and the inlet of fluid being heated for the other baffle being disposed on one and the same side of the longitudinal centerline of the gas duct.
