A waste toner collecting device used in an image forming unit and in a color image forming apparatus using a plurality of the units, has a cleaning device which removes a residual toner from a photosensitive drum of the unit and discharges the removed waste toner from a discharge port, and a toner collecting device which has a receiving port detachably connected to the discharge port and a transfer member for transferring the waste toner from the receiving port to a collecting bag of the unit. The collecting device further has a toner plugging preventing device in a connecting portion between the discharge and receiving ports so as to prevent the waste toner from being attached to and accumulated in the connecting portion.
La présente invention a pour objet un collecteur de toner usé dans une machine servant à la formation d'images et dans une machine servant à la formation d'images en couleurs utilisant une pluralité de ces dispositifs, celui-ci comportant un appareil de nettoyage pour débarrasser le tambour photosensible de toner résiduel et évacuer le toner usé à travers un orifice d'évacuation pour le canaliser vers un collecteur de toner doté d'un orifice d'admission raccordé à l'orifice d'évacuation, ainsi qu'un dispositif de transfert pour transférer le toner usé depuis l'orifice d'admission vers un sac collecteur. Le collecteur de toner usé en question est en outre doté d'un dispositif prévenant la formation de bouchons de toner à l'intérieur des conduites de raccordement entre les orifices d'évacuation et d'admission, ce dispositif prévenant la formation de dépôts et toute accumulation de toner usé à l'intérieur des raccords.
