A waste treatment system (1; 100) comprising an impermeable container (2; 101) adapted to accommodate waste, and presenting at least an opening (3; 101a, 101b) for introducing waste and a plurality of preferential breaking lines (4; 105) for creating respective openings; air-tight closing means (5; 102, 103) of the opening (3; 101a, 101b) ; percolate introduction means (9; 118) within the impermeable container (2; 101) ; means for collecting (16; 124) the formed biogas; a covering layer (6; 106) arranged so as to close the openings; and an air circulation system (11; 109) comprising in turn, within the permeable container (2; 101) a plurality of intake tubes (13; 110) and a plurality of air intakes (12; 111) .
