ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A ? water aeration tank of a clarification plant which comprises a ? water tank, sunk into the ground, into which three ?ical pipes are extended connecting the surface of the water in the tank with the water at its bottom; supply pumps wherein a ? ? ?ent in the pipes so that waste water circulates in the tank from the bottom to the top and in the pipes, in the opposite direction; in the upper part of each pipe, means are p? ? ?ply an aeration gas in the form of fi? ? ; ? ? ? this upper part, the velocity of waste water in the pipe is higher than the velocity of the br? ? bubbles supplied into the current at the same spot; si?e the gas is not fed to the bottom zone of the tank but into the waste water in the upper part of the pipe, the pressure of the gas will be lower than it is in case of its direct supply into the bottom zone.
