A treatment system is provided which can treat solid materials and/or liquid materials. Preferably, a separator (10) initially separates liquid and solid materials, and the solid materials are deposited in a microwave reaction chamber (12) to be subjected to microwaves. The liquids exiting the separator are preferably also passed through a filter assembly (26) which retains any suspended particles remaining in the liquid, and subjects the particles to microwaves. Exhaust filter (20) can also be provided for the microwave reaction chamber (12).

Cette invention concerne un système de traitement, lequel permet de traiter des matières solides et/ou des matières liquides. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, un séparateur (10) sépare initialement les matières solides et les matières liquides. Les matières solides sont déposées dans une chambre (12) de réaction à micro-ondes afin d'être soumises à l'action de ces dernières. Les liquides sortant du séparateur passent également, de préférence, à travers un dispositif de filtrage (26) qui retient toutes les particules en suspension restant dans le liquide, et soumet des particules à l'action des micro-ondes. Un filtre d'évacuation (20) peut également être utilisé pour la chambre (12) de réaction à micro-ondes.
