ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disposal of wastepaper such as newspapers presents a problem. A simple solution to the problem is an open topped, rectangular box with a pair of strings extending longitudinally and transversely of the bottom surface thereof, the strings extending upwardly above the side and end walls of the container, so that the upper free ends of such strings can be tied together on a bundle of newspapers or other wastepaper stacked in the container.
