WATCH CASE ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure There is disclosed a watch case assembly having a housing with non-cylindrical interior cavity and a cover with a circular hole therethrough for access to the interior cavity joined together by means of a split connecting ring. The connecting ring is formed with a threaded portion at one end and an outer flange on the ring at the other end. Recesses are formed into the interior walls of the cavity of the housing to form shoulders to engage the flange of the connecting ring in the final assembly. The hole through the cover is threaded to mate with the threaded portion of the connecting ring. Thus, in the final assembly, as the connecting ring is screwed into the cover one surface of the flange is drawn up against the shoulders formed by the recesses within the internal cavity of the housing forming a high strength closure of the watch case.
