Described is a watch having a face (38) disposed over watch module (32) with display (34) presenting a plurality of functions. Watch face (38) includes tactile portions (44) that may be depressed to activate the functions presented on display (34). Watch face (38) has four tactile portions (44) to activate four primary functions. Watch face (38) can also be pressed in between tactile portions (44) to activate four secondary functions. Watch face (38) is secured to module (32) which is mounted at a central pivot point in a base. Watch module (32) has switches on its edge, one beneath each tactile portion (44), and a flexible waterproof seal which includes knobs, one for each switch, which closes the associated switch when associated tactile portion (44) is depressed. A platform prevents straight-down depression of the watch which could cause more than two switches to close. A bumper surrounding the perimeter of watch face (38) prevents inadvertent depression of the tactile portions.
L'invention porte sur une montre dont le cadran (38) disposé au-dessus d'un module de montre (32) muni d'un écran (34) comporte plusieurs fonctions. Ledit cadran (38) comprend des parties tactiles (44), qui, une fois pressées, activent les fonctions apparaissant sur l'écran (34). Ces parties tactiles (44), au nombre de quatre, commandent quatre fonctions primaires. Il est également possible de presser le cadran (38) entre les parties tactiles (44) pour activer quatre fonctions secondaires. Le cadran (38) est fixé au module de montre (32), lequel est fixé à un point central de pivotement du fond. Le module (32) comporte sur ses bords des contacts, un derrière chacune des parties tactiles (44), et un joint étanche souple muni de boutons, un par contact, qui ferment le contact associé lorsque la partie tactile (44) associée est pressée. Une plaque empêche qu'une pression directe sur la montre n'entraîne la fermeture de plus de deux contacts. Une protection entourant le cadran (38) empêche de presser par inadvertance les parties tactiles.
