A water- and oil-repellent composition comprises (a) a repellency-imparting, fluorochemical composition comprising at least one fluorine-containing aromatic ester oligomer comprising (1) at least two repeat units derived or derivable from the reaction of at least one dicarboxylic acid (or a derivative thereof) and at least one polyol, with the proviso that either the dicarboxylic acid (or derivative) or the polyol (or both) is aromatic or heteroaromatic, and (2) fluorochemical endgroups derived or derivable from the reaction of (i) the dicarboxylic acid (or derivative) and at least one fluorine-containing monoalcohol, or (ii) the polyol and at least one fluorine- containing monocarboxylic acid; and (b) a treatable substrate; with the proviso that, when the treatable substrate comprises a mixture of at least two polymers, the mixture is non-stratifying.

L'invention concerne une composition résistante hydrofuge et oléofuge qui comprend d'une part (a) une composition composée fluorée conférant une résistance au mouillage, et comprenant au moins un oligomère d'ester aromatique contenant du fluor et comprenant: (1) au moins deux unités de répétition dérivées ou dérivables de la réaction d'au moins un acide dicarboxylique (ou un dérivé de celui-ci) et d'au moins un polyol, à condition que soit l'acide dicarboxylique (ou le dérivé), soit le polyol (ou les deux) soit aromatique ou hétéroaromatique ; (2) des groupements terminaux fluorés dérivés ou dérivables de la réaction de : (i) l'acide dicarboxylique (ou dérivé) et d'au moins un monoalcool contenant du fluor, ou bien (ii) du polyol et d'au moins un acide monocarboxylique contenant du fluor ; cette composition comprend d'autre part (b) un substrat traitable, à condition que, lorsque le substrat traitable comprend un mélange d'au moins deux polymères, ce mélange soit non-stratifiant.
