A water dispersion type water and oil repellent composition capable of imparting highly long-lasting water and oil repellency to fibers of various materials. It comprises a polymer which essentially contains polymerized units of a (meth)acrylate having a polyfluoroalkyl group and polymerized units of a polymerizable monomer which essentially contains a polymerizable unsaturated group and a hydroxyl group and in which the polymerizable unsaturated group and the hydroxyl group are connected to each other through 7 or more covalent bonds, a surfactant which contains a nonionic surfactant in an amount of from 60 to 100 wt%, an aqueous medium, and a cross-linkable compound.
Composition repoussant l'eau et l'huile du type dispersion aqueuse pouvant empêcher à long terme l'eau et l'huile de pénétrer dans des fibres de différents matériaux. Cette composition contient : un polymère comprenant en tant qu'unités de base une unité polymère dérivée d'un méthacrylate possédant un groupe polyfluoroalkyle et une unité polymère dérivée d'un monomère polymérisable contenant essentiellement un groupe polymérisable insaturé et un groupe hydroxyle, ces groupes étant reliés les uns aux autres par l'intermédiaire de sept liaisons covalentes ou davantage ; un tensioactif composé de 60 à 100 % en poids d'un tensioactif non-ionique ; un milieu aqueux ; un composé de réticulation.
