A water-based adhesive for polarizing elements which comprises a polyvinyl alcohol resin, a resin having a maleic anhydride skeleton in the structure, and a crosslinking agent in a weight proportion of 100/(1-1,000)/(0.5-5,000). It is easy to handle because it is of the water-based one-pack type. The adhesive has sufficient adhesion strength even in a high-temperature high- humidity atmosphere. The adhesive contains boron in a high concentration and is effective also in the bonding of polarizing elements, for which conventional adhesives have been insufficient in adhesion strength.
Il est prévu un adhésif à base d~eau pour éléments de polarisation, comprenant une résine d~alcool de polyvinyle, une résine possédant un squelette anhydride maléique dans sa structure, et un agent de réticulation dans une proportion pondérale de 100/(1-1.000)/(0,5-5.000). Il est facile à manipuler parce que du type monobloc à base d~eau. L~adhésif présente une force d~adhérence suffisante, même dans une atmosphère haute température très humide. L~adhésif contient du bore dans une concentration élevée et se révèle efficace également dans la liaison d'éléments de polarisation, pour lesquels les adhésifs conventionnels ont montré une force d~adhérence insuffisante.
