ABSTRACT OF THF DISCLOSURE Halogenated conjugated diene-monoalkenyl aromatic alkyl halide copolymer latexes provide adhesive systems which afford adhesive strengths comparable to commercial solvent- based adhesies in bond natural and synthetic elastomers to rigid and non-rigid substrates. Adhesives prepared from such latexes exhibit excellent preheat tolerance and environ- mental resistance.
