A water-based vacuum forming laminating adhesive includes an ionic water- dispersed polyurethane, a carbodiimide and/or an aziridine, and optionally a vinyl acetate polymer. The polyurethane is characterized by a high polydispersity index, which provides a combination of adhesion and thermal stability. The polyurethane is made by chain extending an isocyanate functional urethane prepolymer with polyamine and ketimine.

Cet adhésif à base d'eau, utile pour la stratification sous vide, comprend un polyuréthanne ionique dispersé dans une solution aqueuse, un carbodiimide et/ou un aziridine et, le cas échéant, un polyacétate de vinyle. Ce polyuréthanne se caractérise par un indice élevé de polydispersion, lequel permet d'obtenir une combinaison d'adhésion et de stabilité thermique. On fabrique ce polyuréthanne par extension de chaîne d'un prépolymère d'uréthanne fonctionnel contenant des groupes isocyanate, à l'aide d'une polyamine et d'une cétimine.
