The invention relates to a water bed comprising at least one mattress (85) which is filled with water and forms a plane horizontal surface (147) when not subjected to a load, said mattress being held inside a frame consisting of bars (86, 87) of plastic foam. On the inner side of the bed, at least one bar is curved into an arc in a convex manner, ending in a plane upper side, beneath the horizontal surface. Said mattress (85) comprises a concave recess adapted to the respective arcs, facing the bars (86, 87), and covers the upper side of the bars (86, 87) with a projection comprising a rectangular cross- section.
L'invention concerne un lit à eau comprenant au moins un matelas (85) qui, en l'absence de charge, forme une surface de couchage (147) plane. Ce matelas est rempli d'eau et est maintenu dans un cadre composé de montants (86, 87) constitués de matière en plastique expansée. A l'intérieur du lit à eau, au moins un montant (86, 87) est incurvée de manière convexe formant un arc et se termine par une surface supérieure plane située sous la surface de couchage (147). Le matelas (85) présente au niveau des montants (86, 87) un évidement concave adapté aux arcs respectifs et recouvre la face supérieure des montants (86, 87) par une extension de section transversale rectangulaire.
