An aqueous epoxy resin system AB is described comprising an aqueously dispersed epoxy resin A having, on the average, at least one epoxy group per molecule, and a water-soluble or water- dispersible curing agent B which comprises the reaction product of an amine B1 having at least one primary and/or at least one secondary amino group, an adduct B2 of a polyalkylene ether polyol B21 and an epoxide component B22, and an aromatic compound B3 having at least one acidic group selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, which system can be applied by rolling, spraying or brushing to provide corrosion protection on base metals.

L'invention porte sur un système aqueux de résine époxy AB, comprenant une résine époxy A en dispersion aqueuse ayant, en moyenne, au moins un groupe époxy par molécule, et un agent de durcissement B soluble dans l'eau ou dispersible dans l'eau qui comprend le produit de réaction d'une amine B1 ayant au moins un groupe amino primaire et/ou au moins un groupe amino secondaire, un produit d'addition B2 d'un polyalkylène éther polyol B21 et un composant époxyde B22, et un composé aromatique B3 ayant au moins un groupe acide choisi dans le groupe constitué par les groupes hydroxyle et carboxyle, lequel système peut être appliqué au rouleau, par pulvérisation ou à la brosse pour fournir une protection contre la corrosion sur des métaux de base.
