ABSTRACT Water-Borne Permanent Coating Compositions And Processes Therefor Water reducible, dispersible, corrosion resistant coating compositions and methods for their manufacture are disclosed and demonstrated to be useful for protecting metals from corrosion. The composition comprises a water reducible, dispersible alkyd resin; a coupling agent; a surfactant; an amine; one or more driers; a chelating agent; water; and in one embodiment, a metallic inhibitor.
