PRÉCIS L'invention a pour objet un W.C. Le W.C. est du type comportant une cuvette (1), une chasse (3) d'eau et de rinçage (7), un siphon (2), un abattant et éventuellement un siège qui assurent une fermeture hermétique lorsqu'ils sont fermés sur le bord (8) de ladite cuvette (1); la libération de la colonne d'eau de rinçage (7) met en surpression la cuvette (1) dont l'abattant (5) et éventuellement le siège (4) sont pourvus de moyens rendant hermétique la fermeture lorsque ladite cuvette (1) est en surpression et que ledit abattant (5) comporte un moyen de blocage de son ouverture en position fermée hermétique. L'invention s'applique à un abattant de W.C.
