A water faucet assembly providing touchless water temperature and water flow adjustment. The assembly comprises a spout (17), a water mixing valve (30), at least one proximity sensor (10, 11, or 12), and a microcomputer (20). The water mixing valve provides a mix and controls the flow of hot water from a hot water supply and cold water from a cold water supply to the spout. The at least one proximity sensor provides a water temperature or water flow input signal having a value corresponding to the distance of an object from the sensor. The microcomputer is responsive to the value of the water temperature input signal to control the water mixing valve and generate a mixture of the hot and cold water corresponding to the distance of the object from the proximity sensor. The microcomputer is also responsive to the value of the water flow input signal to provide a flow of water from the spout corresponding to the distance of the object from the proximity sensor.
Ensemble robinet à eau permettant de régler la température et le débit de l'eau sans qu'un contact tactile soit nécessaire. Cet ensemble est composé d'un bec (17), d'un mélangeur (30), d'au moins un capteur de proximité (10, 11, ou 12) et d'un micro-ordinateur (20). Le mélangeur permet de mélanger l'eau froide et l'eau chaude et d'en réguler les débits alimentant le bec. Le capteur de proximité produit un signal d'entrée de température ou de débit d'eau possédant une valeur correspondant à la distance d'un objet par rapport au capteur. Le micro-ordinateur réagit à la valeur du signal d'entrée de température de l'eau afin de commander le mélangeur et de générer un mélange d'eau froide et d'eau chaude correspondant à la distance de l'objet par rapport au capteur de proximité. Ce micro-ordinateur réagit également à la valeur du signal d'entrée de débit d'eau afin de produire un écoulement d'eau depuis le bec correspondant à la distance de l'objet par rapport au capteur de proximité.
