A surfactant composition is described. This composition is used for the emulsification of oil and water to form microemulsions. These microemulsions can be used as industrial lubricants e.g. machine tool cutting oils (although many uses are possible) and show distinct advantages over traditional neat oils or macroemulsions.

On décrit une composition contenant des tensioactifs et que l'on utilise pour émulsionner de l'huile et de l'eau, afin de former des microémulsions. On peut employer ces microémulsions en tant que lubrifiants industriels, par exemple comme huiles de coupe pour machines-outils (bien d'autres utilisations étant également possibles), ces microémulsions présentant de nets avantages par rapport aux huiles pures ou aux macroémulsions.
