ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is described a new article of manufacture which comprises a water expandable, flexible, soft-walled, water impermeable element, and a water pump operatively connected to the element for pumping inflating ambient water into the element to erect it in the form of a semi-rigid structure of predetermined configuration. Conveniently, the pump may comprise a self- contained pump mounted on the package formed by the collapsed element and operable by a suitable switch to inflate the element at a prescribed depth, preferably beneath the water surface.
