The invention relates to a water jet cutting device for cutting an advancing web (1) of paper, cardboard, tissue, or another fibrous material in a machine used for producing and/or finishing said web. The inventive water jet cutting device comprises at least two water jet nozzles (4, 5) that are disposed approximately behind each other in the direction of advancement (6) of the web and are directed onto the fiber web (1), the fiber web (1) resting on a rotating roller (3) or a continuously revolving belt (2) during the cutting process. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the cut while protecting the surface which supports the fiber web (1). Said aim is achieved by the fact that at least two water jet nozzles (4, 5) have different nozzle diameters and/or are placed at different distances from the fiber web (1) and/or are differently inclined relative to the surface of the fiber web (1).
La présente invention concerne un système de découpe par jet d'eau conçu pour découper une bande de papier, de carton, de papier mince ou d'une autre matière fibreuse en circulation (1) dans une machine pour produire et/ou façonner cette bande. Ce système présente au moins deux buses d'éjection de jet d'eau (4, 5) placées approximativement en série dans le sens machine (6) et orientées vers la bande de matière fibreuse (1). Pendant la découpe, la bande de matière fibreuse (1) s'appuie sur un cylindre rotatif (3) ou sur une bande à circulation continue (2). L'objectif de la présente invention est d'améliorer la qualité de découpe, tout en protégeant la surface qui soutient la bande de matière fibreuse (1). Cet objectif est atteint en ce qu'au moins deux buses d'éjection de jet d'eau (4, 5) présentent des diamètres différents et/ou des écartements différents par rapport à la bande de matière fibreuse (1) et/ou des inclinaisons différentes par rapport à la surface de la bande de matière fibreuse (1).
