A cutoff valve assembly for coupling between a water meter and a water supply line includes a valve body and a valve cartridge which is slidably insertable in the body. An apparatus for tamperproofing a fitting having at least one threaded spigot including a body having mouting lugs projecting therefrom; a nut for mounting on the threads of the outlet spigot; at least one nut cover bracket and; security fastening means for connecting the nut cover bracket to said mounting lugs such that the nut cover bracket at least partly covers said nut whereby unauthorised removal of the nut from the threads is prevented. A tail and nut assembly for use with a fitting having at least one threaded spigot, said assembly including a tail and a nut mounted thereon, said tail being in the form of a hollow tubular body having laterally projecting mounting lugs, said lugs having threaded holes therein for receipt of security screws.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble soupape étanche servant à accoupler un compteur à eau et une canalisation d'alimentation , et comprenant un corps de soupape et une cartouche de soupape pouvant être insérée par glissement dans le corps. L'invention concerne également un appareil destiné à protéger d'éventuelles manipulations un accessoire muni d'au moins un ergot fileté. Ledit appareil comprend un corps avec des pattes de fixation saillantes, un écrou destiné à être fixé sur l'ergot fileté de sortie, au moins un support cache-écrou, et des organes de blocage de sécurité servant à connecter le support cache-écrou aux pattes de fixation saillantes de manière que le support recouvre au moins en partie l'écrou, empêchant ainsi tout retrait non autorisé de l'écrou de l'élément fileté. L'invention concerne en outre un ensemble queue et écrou destiné à être utilisé avec un accessoire muni d'au moins un ergot fileté. Cet ensemble comprend une queue et un écrou fixé sur celle-ci. La queue se présente sous la forme d'un corps tubulaire creux muni de pattes de fixation saillantes latéralement et comportant des orifices filetés destinés à recevoir les vis de sécurité.
