A present invention is a water power station. It is meant to use energy of a river's stream to get electricity from tens Watt to some tens kWatt (low-power) and to use an ocean's stream to get electricity to some MWatt (high-power). The introduced water power station consists of a low-speed water turbine, a gear and a generator. The gear and the generator are placed in a hermetic watertight box. The water power station uses energy of the water stream to put the low-speed turbine into operation. A torque of the water turbine is transmitted to the generator by a shaft and the gear.
