A water-redispersible powder composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a powder consisting of a water-insoluble film-forming polymer prepared from at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and at least one monomer selected from monomers having a carboxylic function and acrylamide or methacrylamide, and (b) 2-40 parts by weight and preferably 8-22 parts by weight of at least one amino acid or a salt thereof. A method for preparing said composition and the use thereof are also disclosed.

La présente invention concerne une composition pulvérulente redispersable dans l'eau et comportant: a) 100 parties en poids d'une poudre de polymère filmogène insoluble dans l'eau et préparé à partir d'au moins un monomère à insaturation éthylénique et au moins un monomère choisi parmi le monomères à fonction carboxylique et l'acrylamide ou le méthacrylamide, b) 2 à 40 parties en poids, de préférence 8 à 22 parties en poids, d'au moins un acide aminé ou un de ses sels. Elle concerne également le procédé de préparation de cette composition et son utilisation.
